Boosts — reset your usage limits
In shortA Boost is a one-off reset of all three usage limits — the 5-hour limit, the weekly limit and the weekly premium allowance — back to 0%, whenever you choose. They cost $10 each on Plus and $30 each on Pro (plus tax), up to 2 a month, and stay in your account until you use them. Buying one never uses it.
Some days a build runs long and you reach your limit in the middle of it. A Boost gives you a fresh start right away: it resets every usage limit on your plan to 0%, so you can keep building instead of waiting for the reset.
You buy Boosts ahead of time and keep them. Each one waits in your account until you decide to use it.
What does a Boost do?

- Resets all three limits on your current plan to 0% — the 5-hour limit, Weekly · all models and Weekly · premium models.
- Restarts the usage clocks from that moment. Your next resets are 5 hours and 7 days later, and both weekly limits restart together. After that, your week keeps running in 7-day steps from the moment you used the Boost.
- Does not change your plan, what you pay, or your billing date.
You can use a Boost at any time — at 90% or at 0%. Anything you had not used before the Boost does not carry over.
How much do Boosts cost?

Prices are in US dollars, plus tax where it applies, as a one-time payment through Stripe. You can buy up to 2 Boosts per calendar month. If you need more than that every month, a bigger plan is better value.
A Boost remembers the plan it was bought for. You can use it on that plan or a smaller one — a Plus Boost cannot refill a Pro plan.
Where do I find my Boosts?
Section titled “Where do I find my Boosts?”In two places, both showing how many you have:
- Beside the prompt box — click the usage ring in any project. The Boost button (a lightning bolt with your balance) is under the bars.
- In Settings — SettingsUsage, in the top corner of Your limits.
On Plus and Pro, a Buy Boosts button sits next to your balance. When you have Boosts, the balance becomes a Boost button with the number beside it.
SettingsPlan & billing also has a Boosts card with your balance and the price on your plan, whenever your plan sells Boosts or you have some.
How do I buy Boosts?

Click the usage ring beside the prompt box, or open SettingsUsage.

Click Buy Boosts.

Choose the quantity and check the price, then click Pay.

Pay on Stripe’s secure checkout. You can enter a promotion code there if you have one.

You come back to Settings → Usage: Your Boosts are ready. Use one whenever you want a fresh start.
Buying a Boost does not reset anything — it only adds it to your balance. If a payment takes a moment to confirm, the page says so, and your Boosts appear as soon as Stripe confirms it. If you cancel the checkout, nothing is charged and your balance stays the same.
How do I use a Boost?

Click the usage ring beside the prompt box, or open SettingsUsage.

Click the Boost button with your balance beside it.

A confirmation opens: Use 1 Boost? It says your limits will reset to 0% and your next resets will be in 5 hours and 7 days.

Click Use 1 Boost.
The bars count down to 0% and you see Boost used. All usage limits reset. Work that was already running when you used the Boost counts toward your fresh limits.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Boosts do not expire. Unused ones stay in your account.
- If you had a legacy MonstarX account, your old credits may have been turned into Boosts — Settings → Plan & billing shows what carried over.
- Payments, Boosts included, are generally non-refundable under the Terms (your rights under consumer law still apply).

Why does my weekly reset day change after a Boost?
A Boost restarts the usage clocks from the moment you use it. Your weekly limit then resets 7 days later, and every 7 days after that, instead of on Monday.
How many Boosts can I buy?
Up to 2 per calendar month. For more usage every month, upgrade your plan.
