Google Slides is Google’s presentation app. Connect it to a project and MonstarX’s builder — the AI you chat with — can read your decks while it works: build a landing page from your pitch deck, match the app to the story in your product slides, or start a demo deck when you ask.
This is a business tool: MonstarX uses your presentations for you. The app you build never gets your Google account.
What can MonstarX do with it?

Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- A Google account with Google Slides.
- You own the MonstarX project. Only the owner can connect or disconnect a tool.
- If your company uses Google Workspace, your admin may have to allow MonstarX before you can sign in.
Connect your account
Section titled “Connect your account”There are no keys to copy. You sign in with Google, and Google asks you to allow:
- See, edit and create your Google Slides presentations — used to read presentations and, when you ask, to create or edit one.
- See information about your Google Drive files — names and dates only, not their contents. Used to find presentations by name.
Google also shares your name and email address, so MonstarX can show which account is connected.

Security and privacy
Section titled “Security and privacy”- Stays with MonstarX. Your Google sign-in is stored encrypted on MonstarX’s servers. It is never written into your app’s code or given to your app.
- One project. The connection works only in the project where you made it.
- Read as information. MonstarX treats what a slide says as information, never as instructions.
- Disconnect any time. Click Disconnect beside Google Slides in BackendCloud and confirm. MonstarX forgets the sign-in and tells Google to cancel its access.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- MonstarX reads the text and structure of slides. It does not look at the pictures on them.
- Edits are real. Google Slides keeps a version history (File → Version history) if you want to go back.
- Each Google tool connects on its own. Connecting Slides does not connect Docs or Sheets.
