Download your data or delete your account
In shortSettings → Data & privacy has one button that downloads everything MonstarX holds about you as a JSON file, a plain list of what MonstarX keeps, and Delete account. Deleting takes every project and published app offline, cancels your plan at once, and removes your account for good — it cannot be undone. Domains stay registered until they expire.
What you build is yours. SettingsData & privacy lets you take a copy of everything MonstarX holds about you, see plainly what it keeps, and close your account if you want to leave.
How do I download my data?
Section titled “How do I download my data?”-
Open SettingsData & privacy.
-
Click Download account data (JSON).
You get one JSON file (structured text that spreadsheets and developer tools can read) with:
- Your profile and the ways you sign in (email, password or not, Google or GitHub, two-step verification)
- The devices you are signed in on
- Your plan and your domain payments
- Your projects, the projects shared with you, and your domains
- A year of usage
- The emails MonstarX sent you
- The devices that get your notifications
It holds no secrets of any kind — no passwords, keys or tokens.
The code of an app is not in this file. Download it from the project itself: Settings → Export. See Export your app.
What does MonstarX keep?
Section titled “What does MonstarX keep?”In four lines, so you do not have to read a policy to find out:
- Your apps — their code, chats, versions, databases, files and secrets — for as long as the project exists.
- Your account, plan and usage history, so limits and invoices add up.
- The emails MonstarX sent you, so support can tell what arrived.
- What you build is yours. MonstarX does not train models on your projects. Your requests go to AI model providers to answer them and nothing else.
The full details are in the Privacy Policy and the Terms. Questions about your data? Write to support@monstarx.com.
How do I delete my account?
Section titled “How do I delete my account?”-
Open SettingsData & privacy.
-
Under Delete your account, click Delete account.
-
Read what would go. The window lists your projects and how many are online, the people who lose access to projects you shared, your plan (cancelled straight away) and any domains.
-
Type your email address in the box to confirm.
-
Click Delete everything — or Keep my account to stop.
If MonstarX is building or testing one of your apps at that moment, the window says so. Wait for it to finish (or stop it), then try again.
What happens when I delete my account?
Section titled “What happens when I delete my account?”In this order:
- Every project is deleted — its code, chats, versions, database, files and preview. Published apps go offline, and people you shared projects with lose access.
- Your plan ends at once in Stripe, so you are never charged again. There is no refund for the rest of the month. Past invoices stay with Stripe for your records.
- MonstarX emails you to confirm the account is deleted.
- Your sign-in is removed, with your sessions, usage history and GitHub connection.
Domains you bought stay registered until they expire, but no longer point at an app and are not renewed.
If a project cannot be deleted, MonstarX stops before it touches your plan, so you can try again without losing anything you paid for.
