Use MonstarX in Japanese or English
In shortClick the globe at the top of any page (or go to Settings → Profile → Language) and choose English or 日本語. Everything switches — every screen, your account and support emails, the sign-in pages, and everything the AI writes to you, from replies to the feature plan, QA reports and Ask Luna's answers. Your account remembers the choice. While you use Japanese, a new app is written in Japanese too, unless you ask for another language.
MonstarX speaks English and Japanese (日本語). Choose Japanese and you get all of it in Japanese — not just the buttons, but everything the AI writes to you as well.
How do I change the language?
Section titled “How do I change the language?”-
Click the globe in the bar at the top of any page — the Projects page, Settings, a project, or the Pricing page.
-
Choose 日本語 (or English). Each language is listed in its own script, so you can find yours even if you cannot read the current one.
-
The page reloads in the new language. On the home, Pricing, Privacy and Terms pages you go to that page’s own Japanese (or English) address instead — for example
/pricing⇄/ja/pricing.
You can also choose it in SettingsProfileLanguage, where both languages sit side by side.
What gets translated?
Section titled “What gets translated?”Everything MonstarX shows you:
- Every screen, button, tooltip and error message
- The emails about your account, plan, domains and projects, and about your support tickets and bug reports
- The sign-in and account pages
- Support: the messages when a bug report or ticket can’t be sent (for example, a file that is too large), and the labels on the Ask Luna conversation added to a ticket
Everything the AI writes to you:
- The builder’s replies and the short lines it writes between its steps
- Plan mode’s questions and the feature plan
- QA’s reports, the security and SEO/GEO reviews, and the wrap-up after a build
- The requirements brief it writes from documents you attach
- The name MonstarX gives your project
Code, file names, web addresses and names stay as they are. MonstarX checks what the AI writes before you see it, and translates any part that slipped into English.
Ask Luna answers in polite Japanese too, using the Japanese names of the buttons you see — even when you ask in English. Ask Luna directly if you want another language. See Ask Luna.
What language is my app written in?
Section titled “What language is my app written in?”Your app is separate from MonstarX’s own language:
- A new app is written in Japanese when you use MonstarX in Japanese — its pages, buttons and text — until you ask for another language.
- An existing app stays in the language it already uses.
- You can always ask. For example: “Make the app English” or “Add a Japanese version of every page”.
SEO suggestions for your app (page titles, descriptions, FAQ) follow your app’s language, not MonstarX’s.
Where is my choice kept?
Section titled “Where is my choice kept?”In your account and in your browser. Your account wins, so any computer you sign in on opens in your language. If you chose a language before you had an account, MonstarX keeps it when you sign up.
Before you choose, MonstarX picks for you: Japanese when your browser or computer is set to Japanese, or when you are in Japan; English otherwise. Choosing with the globe always overrides that guess.
Is there a Japanese website?
Section titled “Is there a Japanese website?”Yes. The home page, Pricing, Privacy and Terms each have a Japanese address under /ja/ — /ja/ itself is the Japanese home page, and /ja/pricing the Japanese Pricing page. If MonstarX knows you read Japanese, opening the English address takes you to the Japanese one. A /ja/ address always shows Japanese, so you can share it with anyone.
Frequently asked questions
Section titled “Frequently asked questions”Does MonstarX support Japanese?
Yes. Choose 日本語 from the globe at the top of any page. Screens, account emails, sign-in and everything the AI writes switch to Japanese.
Can I build an English app while using MonstarX in Japanese?
Yes. Ask for it — for example "Write the app in English". An app you already have keeps its own language.
Why did MonstarX open in Japanese when I never chose it?
Your browser or computer is set to Japanese, or you are in Japan. Choose English from the globe and MonstarX remembers it.
Why did the page reload when I changed language?
Everything on the page, including dates and the sign-in screens, is made in your language from the start, so MonstarX reloads the page to show it.
Which other languages are coming?
Today MonstarX offers English and Japanese. More languages can be added; watch What's new.
