Make social posts, ads and videos for your app
In shortOpen Social, answer three short steps about your product, audience and voice, and MonstarX writes a first pack of four drafts: a text post, an image post, an ad and a short captioned video. Later campaigns can focus on a feature you just built. Edit any draft, copy the text, download PNGs, videos and subtitles, then post them yourself. Nothing is ever posted for you.
Once your app works, people need to hear about it. The Social tab is a small marketing studio: it turns what you have built into posts, ads, graphics and short videos, ready for you to review and share.
The Social tab sits after SEO/GEO in the top bar, and only the project’s owner sees it. Every draft is based on your real product: your app’s description, the features that are finished, and the text on its public pages. It is told never to invent prices, reviews, numbers or features, and each draft lists the facts it used.
How do I set up the Social studio?
Section titled “How do I set up the Social studio?”The first time you open Social, a three-step setup asks about your brand.
-
Your product. Check the name, what it does, and the address people should visit (optional). MonstarX fills these in from your project and shows how many product sources it found. Finished features and public page text help; planned features are left out.
-
Your audience. Say Who is it for?, pick a Voice (Clear & direct, Warm & friendly, Bold & playful or Thoughtful & expert), a Content language (English or Japanese), the Call to action, a Brand accent colour, Things to avoid and the Platforms: X, LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook.
-
Your first campaign. See what you will get, choose the Campaign goal, and decide whether to Generate AI artwork for image and video drafts. Then click Generate my first pack.
A minute or two later you have four drafts: a Text post, an Image post, an Ad creative and a Short video. You can change your answers later with Brand settings, without making another first pack.
How do I make a new campaign?
Section titled “How do I make a new campaign?”There are two ways to start one.
From your product. When you finish a feature, it shows up here as something new to talk about. Click Create from this: it opens Create campaign with that feature already chosen and the goal set to Announce a feature. Then click Generate campaign.
Create campaign. Pick a Campaign goal (Introduce the product, Announce a feature, Explain how it works or Drive interest), the Number of drafts (1, 2, 4, 6 or 8), a Product source (a feature, or Let AI find the angle), a direction in your own words, and the Content formats. Then click Generate campaign.
When there are at least as many drafts as platforms, each platform gets its own draft, written the way that platform reads: a short hook for X, more depth for LinkedIn.
Where are my drafts?
Section titled “Where are my drafts?”Content library holds every draft. Search it, filter by platform and format, and switch between All drafts, Ready and Archived.
Download copy pack saves a ZIP of the drafts you are looking at: for each one, its post text, its alt text, the full draft with what it is based on, and subtitles for videos.
How do I edit, copy and download a draft?
Section titled “How do I edit, copy and download a draft?”Click Edit draft on any card.
- Change the Post copy and Hashtags. A counter shows the platform’s limit: 280 characters on X, 3,000 on LinkedIn, 2,200 on Instagram and Facebook.
- Change the graphic’s Creative headline and Supporting line, and the Alt text (the picture’s description for screen readers).
- Under Art direction, change what the artwork should show, click Save changes, then Generate artwork (or New artwork to redraw it). If a picture fails, your text is safe: click the button again.
- Copy post or Copy alt text to paste into the platform.
- Pick a size and click Download PNG: Square · 1080 × 1080, Portrait · 1080 × 1350 or Landscape · 1200 × 675.
- What this draft is based on lists the product facts it used. Check every claim, link and picture before you share it.
- Save changes, then Mark ready when you are happy. Archive hides a draft; Restore draft brings it back.
- A Planning date helps you plan when to post. It does not schedule or publish anything.
How do I make a video?
Section titled “How do I make a video?”A Short video draft is a silent vertical video (720 × 1280) with captions written into the picture: a few short scenes with gentle motion, your brand colour, optional AI artwork and a closing call to action. It is a motion graphic, not filmed footage.
-
Change the scene text under Video scenes if you like, and click Save changes.
-
Click Preview motion to watch it.
-
Click Export video. Keep the tab visible while it renders (you can cancel). It is an MP4 when your browser supports it, otherwise a WebM file.
-
Click Download video under the finished video.
-
Click Download subtitles for a matching subtitle file (SRT).
The video uses the saved draft. If you edit it afterwards, export it again.
Frequently asked questions
Section titled “Frequently asked questions”Does MonstarX post to my social accounts?
No. It never connects to social accounts, posts, schedules or buys ads. You copy the text and download the files, then post them yourself.
Where do the ideas come from?
From your app: its description, up to 30 finished features and the visible text of its public pages. Admin, sign-in, settings and dashboard pages, your data and your chat are not used. Features that are only planned, or that failed QA, are left out.
Can the AI make up claims?
It is told not to invent prices, testimonials, numbers or features, and each draft lists the facts it was based on. Still, review every claim, link and picture before you share it.
Is the artwork private?
Your drafts and brand settings are private to you. Generated artwork is saved in your project's public media storage, so each picture has a public web address.
What languages can drafts be written in?
English and Japanese. Pick the Content language in Brand settings.
Why did my video export stop?
The video is rendered in your browser and needs the tab to stay visible. If you switch away, start the export again. If your browser cannot export video, try a current Chrome or Safari, or download the image and subtitles instead.
